Here at Dravet Syndrome UK, we're gearing up for another adrenaline-filled challenge for this year's fundraising event. Calling all family, siblings, friends and all-round amazing people - it's time to get booked onto the adventure of a lifetime!

This is a truly unique and exhilarating experience. You’ll soar over Penryhn Quarry, at speeds of up to and over 100mph, while taking in breath-taking views of Eryri (Snowdonia). It’s a 1.5km zip line and you can take part alongside your family and friends, as there are 4 parallel lines in operation. This is an adrenaline-rush like no other and we know you’ll want to be a part of it!

• Where: Penrhyn Quarry, Bethesda, Bangor, North Wales
• Time: Midday - 6pm
• Registration Fee: £20 per participant
• Minimum Fundraising Target: £150 per participant
• Who's it for?: Weight - Max 130kg, Height - Min 1.2m

There's two booking slots available - 12.45pm and 1pm and places are limited! The whole experience, to include, transport up the mountain to the top of the zipline, kitting up, safety briefings and of course your amazing decent across the quarry, takes around 2 hours.

After you've flown through the sky, you and your cheer squad are invited to join Dravet Syndrome UK's Family Support Coordinator, Linzi, and Trustee, Kelvin, for a buffet at the Blondin Restaurant gallery room. It'll be a nice opportunity to calm down after all the nerves and celebrate the amazing bravery you've shown during the afternoon alongside other families living with Dravet Syndrome. Please note there is a cost of £16 adult / £8 children for spectators who join us at the buffet to help us to cover food costs.

Sadly, those who have had a seizure in the past year, cannot take part in this event, and if your adult/child living with Dravet Syndrome is spectating, you will need to ensure there is a responsible adult available to care for your son or daughter while you are taking part in the zipline (a period of 2 hours). Staff and other families cannot accept responsibility for your child/adult.

When you've registered, you'll receive a confirmation email and we'll be in touch during the run up to the event to the email address you provided on registration. We'll send you a Dravet Syndrome UK t-shirt, as well as a fundraising pack to get you started! Registrations close at 9pm on Thursday 22nd August.
