Living with Dravet Syndrome During COVID-19 Lockdown
COVID-19 lockdown meant uncertainty & isolation for many people. Families living with a life-limiting epilepsy called Dravet Syndrome, are used to the isolation that a complex condition brings. For them lockdown meant life got even tougher.
Watch our short video to find out about some of the challenges faced by Dravet families during the lockdown, and how DSUK has been able to step in to support.
For us the biggest support we received from day 1 was from DSUK...they instantly jumped on board and reached out to families because we were isolated.
Huge thanks to Steph, Heather, Kelly, Rita, Gemma and Martin and their families and to Red Goat Productions for helping us make this film.
If you’d like to help us continue supporting families living with Dravet Syndrome, text DSUK to 70979 to donate £5 now, or visit 'Make a Donation' for other ways to give.
DSUK is here to support all families living with Dravet Syndrome. If you or a family you know has a Dravet Syndrome diagnosis and hasn't yet joined our community of 500+ families, please get in touch, we'd love to hear from you. Visit the 'Join Us' page for more information.
